Welcome to my Mandy Patinkin fan site!

I became a fan of Mandy Patinkin after seeing him on the television series Criminal Minds, so I’m still what you would call a new fan (as opposed to those many absolutely incredible fans he has, who have been loyally following his career since they first saw him in Evita back in the 70s). Whether it was because of Mandy that my favorite character on Criminal Minds was Jason Gideon or because of the character Jason Gideon, that I first became interested in Mandy, I couldn’t tell you. Whatever the reason, I quickly started tracking down everything I could find on the man. Luckily for me, since he is so multi-talented and has been in the entertainment business for so long, there was plenty to find. Pretty soon I was completely addicted to the show Dead Like Me, followed soon after by Chicago Hope (Mandy playing my favorite character on both shows, of course). I also started searching out his films (my favorites being Yentl, Maxie, Impromptu, and The Music of Chance). Then I tracked down his many cds (there are too many wonderful songs to mention, but my absolute favorite songs of his are Younger Than Springtime from the South Pacific cd and Coffee in a Cardboard Cup from his debut solo album). I have also managed to track down quite a few other Mandy related items, and since web sites are my hobby, I just finally couldn't resist putting together a fan site dedicated to the man, in hopes of sharing with other fans all that I have been able to find and maybe help other fans track some of these items down themselves. Scattered throughout this web site are pictures, magazine interviews, a list of movie titles, a list of music cd titles, a list of Mandy related book titles, a list of his theatre work (both plays and musicals), video clips, audio clips, wallpapers and links to other interesting Mandy Patinkin related web sites.
